Zoom Meeting Capture
Use Reps AI to send a notetaker bot to a Zoom meeting from the Meetings page.
Start Recording
- Open Meetings in the dashboard.
- Click Record meeting.
- Paste the Zoom meeting link.
- Choose Now or set a scheduled join time.
- Click Send bot.
The bot joins the meeting as Reps AI Notetaker or SWISH AI Notetaker, depending on your organisation.
Zoom Link Requirements
Use the full meeting link from Zoom. If the meeting has a password, the password should be included in the URL as the pwd query parameter. If the password is missing from the link, the bot may not be able to join.
Waiting Room Behaviour
If the Zoom waiting room is enabled, the bot waits like any other participant. A host or co-host must admit it before recording can begin.
If no host or co-host is present, other participants may not be able to see or admit the bot, depending on the host's Zoom settings.
Recording And Analysis
After the meeting ends, Reps AI imports the recording and transcript, runs analysis, and stores the meeting in your organisation's meeting history.
Troubleshooting
The bot is waiting but nobody can admit it
Ask the meeting host or a co-host to join and admit the bot from the waiting room.
The bot cannot join a password-protected meeting
Copy the full Zoom invite link and make sure it includes the password query parameter.
The chat disclosure does not appear
Zoom chat settings can prevent bot chat messages from appearing. Recording still depends on the bot joining and being admitted.
