Understanding Billing

Learn how billing works in Reps AI, including subscription plans, payment methods, and billing cycles.

Overview

Reps AI uses a subscription-based billing model where you pay for access to the platform based on your chosen plan and the number of seats (users) in your organization. Billing is managed through Stripe, a secure payment processing platform.

Billing Structure

Subscription Plans

Reps AI offers three main subscription tiers:

  • Starter Plan ($29/month): Ideal for individuals and small teams getting started
  • Pro Plan ($79/month): Best for growing teams with advanced features
  • Team Plan ($79 per seat/month, minimum 3 seats): For large teams with enterprise needs

Organization-Based Billing

Billing is tied to your organization, not individual user accounts. This means:

  • All users within an organization share the same subscription
  • The organization owner or billing administrator manages payments
  • Subscription changes affect all members of the organization
  • You can switch between organizations, each with its own billing

Seats

A "seat" represents one active user license in your organization. The number of seats determines pricing for Team plans:

  • Team plans charge per seat with a minimum of 3 seats
  • Starter and Pro plans include a fixed number of seats
  • You can add or remove seats based on your team size
  • Seats are billed according to your billing cycle

Billing Cycle

Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis:

  • Monthly Billing: Your subscription renews every month
  • Payment is automatically charged to your saved payment method

Payment Methods

You can securely store and manage payment methods:

  • Credit cards and debit cards are accepted
  • Payment methods are securely stored by Stripe
  • You can update your payment method at any time
  • The payment method on file will be charged automatically each billing cycle

Credits

Each subscription plan includes a monthly credit allowance:

  • Starter: ~120 credits per month
  • Pro: ~420 credits per month
  • Team: ~420 credits per seat per month

Credits are used for various platform features and reset each billing cycle. You can monitor your credit usage in the Usage section of your settings.

Managing Your Billing

You can manage your billing settings from the Settings > Billing page:

  • View your current subscription details
  • Update your payment method
  • View billing history and invoices
  • Manage your subscription (upgrade, downgrade, or cancel)
  • Access the Stripe customer portal for advanced billing management

Billing Overview Information

On your billing page, you'll see:

  • Subscription Status: Whether your subscription is active
  • Active Seats: The number of seats currently in use
  • Next Payment Date: When your next payment will be processed
  • Payment Method: Your saved payment method details
  • Subscription Plan: Your current plan and pricing
